As part of Welsh Innovation Weeks event’s Digital Day on Tuesday, Edd participated in a panel discussion alongside Marco Oliver (GoConfigur) and Philip Jonkergouw (Probit Consulting) discussing big data, the realities of data that companies in Wales are generating and have access to and looking to the future and opportunities for leveraging this data.

Speaking after the event, Edd said:

“I am always delighted to be invited to sit on these panels and take part in these discussions. It was particularly interesting to see how ready differing sectors are, in relation to being able to use their data for machine learning purposes.”

Digital Day also featured talks and discussions around Cyber Security and Creativity, with plenty of opportunities for idea sharing, knowledge expansion and networking. Wales Innovation Week continues on Wednesday and Thursday with events focusing on energy and investment opportunities.
